University of Geneva seeks tenure-track professor of science and technology studies

The University of Geneva (UNIGE) Faculty of Social Sciences is looking to hire a tenure-track assistant professor in science and technology studies, with an application deadline of January 4th, 2021.

This position, to begin August 1st, 2021, involves teaching the social sciences at the bachelor and master levels, as well as the management of bachelor research projects, master’s theses and doctoral theses. The successful candidate will also conduct research at national and international level in the field of sociology of science and technology, focusing in particular on sciences and technologies used in economic, social, and political analyses. He / she should be involved in the Department of Sociology and in the Institute of Sociological Research, and collaborate with other departments and institutes of the Faculty.

Candidates should have a PhD in sociology or social sciences, or the equivalent, as well as experience in teaching, research, and coordinating research projects.
