Job: Professor of digital education

The Haute École pédagogique du canton de Vaud (HEP Vaud) is seeking a professor in the field of digital education, with a specialization in the analysis of instrumented activity in the context of school education. The application deadline is January 21st, 2021.

This position is anticipated to being on August 1st, 2021, with a six-year renewable contract.

The successful candidate’s main activities will be to provide leadership in the field of digital education, both from a teaching and a research perspective. He or she will ensure the training of future teachers in this field, and develop and lead national and international research and development projects, in particular by coordinating the research activities of the “Digital Uses” cluster.

These activities will take place within HEP Vaud’s Teaching and Research Unit Media, Digital Uses and Didactics of Informatics (UER MI), in collaboration with other universities.

Application information

Candidates should have a PhD in the field, with a recognized teaching diploma. He or she should have proven professional experience in teaching or training, in directing research activities and publications in international scientific journals, as well as in fundraising for research.
